The name Trafisöler comes from the Ladin (Rhaeto-Romanic) and means freely interpreted “between the sources”.The famous minnesinger "Oswald von Wolkenstein" appointed our farm as his feudal farm and gave it this name. We manage a grassland farm with livestock and live in the idyllically situated district of Umes.
Arrival
The best way to get to Umes/ Ums is through Prato all’Isarco/ Blumau. Coming from the Brennero, take the motorway exit Bolzano Nord, than turn left in the direction of Prato all’Isarco / Blumau. In Prato all’Isarco turn again left in the tunnel and drive in the direction of Fiè/ Völs. From Fiè to Umes, it is only seven minutes’ drive left.
